1.
Report:
Is your dance instructor
friendly and outgoing and exhibit energy? The more friendly
and outgoing the instructor the better your child will pick up on
his or her instructor's energy, which increases your child's
learning experience. If your dance instructor doesn't appear
to be having fun, how will your child feel?
2.
Education:
Does your dance instructor
have a degree in dance and continue with his or her education?
Let's face it, the dance world is ever changing with the latest
styles and techniques. Your instructor should make a point to
attend annual workshops once or twice a year to further his or her
education. This assures you as a parent that your child is
receiving the latest techniques and styles at the best possible
price.
3.
Experience:
How long has your dance
instructor been in business? As with everything in life,
experience breads knowledge, credibility and reliability. You
can be rest assured as a parent that an experienced instructor can
handle many different diverse learning situations and various
challenges effectively and efficiently giving you the most for you
dollar.
4.
Facilities:
Is the teaching area open and
clean? Studies show that the more open and presenting the room
not only promotes a faster learning experience, but your child is
apt to retain the knowledge in the future. Proper facilities
also puts your child in the right frame of mind and opens them up to
the learning process. Your child knows they go to school to
learn, their dance studio shouldn't be any different.
5.
Price:
With the increasing prices of
practically almost everything these days, the value of the dollar
continues to be stretched. A cheaper lesson fee doesn't always
give you the best bargain for your buck. The above items
must also weight your decision. You as a parent must consider
all of the following when it comes to choosing your dance
instructor: REPORT, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, FACILITIES, AND PRICE.
A cheaper lesson fee doesn't guarantee you the best value.
